Boambee East Philatelic Society
About Us
Boambee East Philatelic Society is a vibrant new club on the NSW North Coast and visitors are most welcome. A newsletter will keep all country members in touch.
The first meeting was held in August 2009 and was well attended, with many driving long distances to meet with others and discuss their hobby.
There will be displays and activities on the night and anyone interested in joining this new club is invited to attend.
Meeting Time
Meets on the 1st Tuesday of the month (except January) commencing at 6:00pm.
Meeting Place
Boambee East Community Centre, Bruce King Drive, Boambee East 2450
(Please Note, you can not turn off the Pacific Highway into Bruce King Drive if coming from the south. You need to go about 1/2 kilometre further up and go over the overpass and come back.)
Membership fees
The annual fees are: family $10, single $6 and junior collector $2.
There is an initial joining fee of $5 to cover the costs of the club book.

| Tuesday 2 March | Theme "The Last Days of Summer". Challenges - Picnics, water sports, boating, fires and drought. |
| Tuesday 6 April | Theme "Too much Chocolate?". Challenges - Rabbits and chickens, bonnets and Church. |
| Tuesday 4 May | Theme " May good things come your way" Challenges - Sweets, fine wine, good food, health. |

| Tuesday 6 July | Theme " Turning One". Team Challenge, public voting on displays. President's revenge "My complete collection of stamps from ???". Birthday party - games and surprises.  |
| Tuesday 3 August | Theme "Washed Out". Member talk and practical demonstration on detecting watermarks. A number of senior members will lead these groups. |
| Tuesday 7 September | Theme "Spring has Sprung". Preparations for "The Big Auction". Nominations open for your new committee. member presentation R. Lewis "Proclamation" |
